Weather continues to affect racing fixtures in Britain.
Friday’s meeting at Chepstow is the latest meeting to fall foul of the weather.
Meetings at Leicester and Ludlow on Wednesday and cards at Towcester and Wincanton were also cancelled.
Clerk of the course, Keith Ottesen said: “Unfortunately we are frozen in places underneath the covers. The take-offs, landings, worn areas and shaded areas are severely affected despite the covers.
“We have looked at every forecast and it gives us no prospect of sufficient improvement to be raceable.
“It was considerably worse this morning and with another severe frost forecast, there’s no realistic chance.”
