Throw in times
The game itself throws in at 2pm. There is no live coverage of the game but TG4 will have deferred coverage at around 4pm on the Sunday. Corofin have been an exceptional team. They have won every Galway senior football title since 2013. In addition to this they have been crowned Connacht Champions for the past three seasons. They have won two All-Ireland titles in a row also, 2017 and 2018. However, their opponents , Padraig Pearses of Roscommon are in unknown territory here. They won their first county title this year. This Connacht Football Final will be their first.
Firstly, Corofin are massive favourites for not only this game but the All-Ireland. Corofin to get to this stage had to overcome Tuam Stars in a replay in the Galway decider. They faced Mayo champions Ballintubber in the semi-final stages and ran out two points winners, 1-10 to 0-11.
Padraig Pearses beat Roscommon Gaels in their county final meeting, Pearses coming out on top by 2-10 to 1-10. As a result of that win Pearses played Sligo champions Tourlestrane in the quarter-final stages where they won 3-07 to 0-06. Furthermore, that set up a semi-final tie with London champions Tir Chonaill Gaels, once again the Roscommon side won 2-10 to 0-08.
In regards to some key players for both sides. Liam Silke, Gary Sice and Kieran Molloy are all fantastic footballers they will have a big say on the outcome here. The Gaels will look to Hubert Darcy, Niall Daly and Ronan Daly for leadership.
