All roads lead to O’Moore Park Portlaoise on Saturday night where Eire Og of Carlow and Portlaoise of Laois meet in the Leinster Club Football Semi-Final. Another top class club game awaits us.

Firstly, the game is live on RTE television and throws in at 7.30pm. Both of these sides have a very proud history when it comes to winning Leinster club titles. Portlaoise have 7 Leinster titles overall with the latest coming in 2009. In comparison, Eire Og have won the Carlow title for the past three years.In contrast, their last success in Leinster came in 1999. They have six Leinster titles.
It promises to be an exciting Leinster Football semi-final. On their way to this semi-final Portlaoise had to overcome Wicklow champions St Patrick’s in Aughrim. A quarter-final meeting against Sarsfields of Kildare was next and they won 1-12 to 0-09.
