Top 5 GAA bets for this weekend

Another massive weekend of club action across all four provinces and with that in mind I have done a 5 team accumulator to get your teeth sunk into. So lets take a look a look at the five games I have chosen and the tip with each game.

  1. Ballyboden v St Judes – The first of our selections comes from the Dublin senior football championship semi-finals. This game is live on RTE at 5.15pm and it promises to be a good game. St Judes over came St Vincent’s pretty easily in the last round. Ballyboden beat Na Fianna in their quarter final game. The bet here for me is Ballyboden/St Enda’s -1 at evens.

2. Trim v Nobber – This a game that basically decides what side goes up to Senior Football next season in Meath. Trim are favourites and rightly so in my opinion. They are 4/9 to win this game and they would be my selection.

3. Kilmacud Crokes v Thomas Davis – The second of the Dublin senior football semi-finals is also live on RTE. This game throws in at 7pm. Kilmacud are heavily fancied here at odds of 1/10 to just win the game, while Thomas Davis are 13/2. No value there. The value for me is in the handicap betting. Kilmacud Crokes -6 at 10/11 looks a great bet.

4. St Martins v St Anne’s – The Wexford senior hurling championship takes place on Sunday and many will say this will be a walk in the park for St Martins considering they beaten St Anne’s by 34 points in the group stages. Read into that as much as you want. I think this will be different altogether. I still expect St Martins to win however at odds of 4/11.

5 St Thomas’ v Turloughmore – The Galway senior hurling semi-final also takes place this weekend and our pick comes from the St Thomas’ v Turloughmore game. St Thomas’ as we all know are a superb side with the famous Burkes plying their trade with the club. I fancy them to win this by a few points. They are 5/6 to do so.

A 10 euro bet on these 5 selections will pocket you a cool 145 euro.
