Dromid Pearses will likely appeal against their three-year ban from all provincial and national competitions.
The Central Hearings Committee gave the Kerry club the punishment after the brawl between Pearses and Tyrone club Derrytresk.
Originally, the Central Competitions Control Committe gave Pearses a €2,000 fine and suspended three of their players.
At a hearing last Friday, the CHC cut the original fine to €1,000 but hit the club with a three-year ban.
Talking to the Irish Examiner, Pearses chairman Mike Sheehan said: “I assume we will be appealing but we have no official recommendation yet. We have to schedule a club meeting. It does seem severe enough.”
