Farrell makes one Dublin change for U21 final

Dublin start Eoin Murchan at right corner back in the only change as they look for a third straight Leinster U21 Football title against Kildare.

Dessie Farrell makes the change as a result of the suspension to Tom Lahiff after his red card in the semi-final victory over Laois a fortnight ago.

The major surprise is that Michael Deegan starts in the half-forward line. His black card in the semi-final saw the introduction of Colm Basquel from the bench. The Ballyboden club man finished with 1-3, but starts – providing there is no last minute injury before throw-in – from the bench.

Dublin (U21FC v Kildare):

1 Lorcan Molloy, 2 Eoin Murchan, 3 Martin Cahilan, 4 Eoin Smith, 5 Glenn O’Reilly, 6 Sean McMahon, 7 Declan Monaghan, 8 Andy Foley, 9 Killian Deeley, 10 Brian Howard, 11 Michael Deegan, 12 Cillian O’Shea, 13 Chris Sallier, 14 Con O’Callaghan, 15 Darragh Spillane.
