Galway GAA fans to be treated to St. Patricks weekend double-double header.

The stars have aligned nicely for the Tribesmen’s GAA fans this weekend. Earlier today it was confirmed that the county’s hurlers Allianz National League quarter-final clash against Wexford will be played as part of a double-header with the county’s footballers in Pearse Stadium on Saturday. The hurling match will have a 1:30 pm throw in time, while the footballers Division 1 clash against Connacht rivals Roscommon will get underway at 3:30 pm.

The action moves to Croke Park on Sunday where Corofin are seeking to record back to back All-Ireland club Football titles. The Galway side overcame Nemo Rangers of Cork last St.Patricks day and standing in their way this time around are Kerry kingpins Dr Crokes, that game throws in at 3:45pm (live on TG4). Prior to that game, the hurling decider sees Galway’s St.Thomas’ club take on Balyhale Shamrocks of Kilkenny at 2pm (TG4).
