Kerry Suffer Further Injury Blow

Kerry footballers have been hit with a blow as experienced defender Aidan O’Mahony will miss the side’s Allianz National Football League clash with Cork next weekend.

The Rathmore man suffered an ankle injury in the early stages of Saturday’s victory over Down. He is expected to undergo a scan on Monday, and there is a possibility he could miss the remainder of the league. The Cork game is crucial for Kerry, as should they lose, they will be relegated to Division 2 next season.

Mark Griffin, who replaced O’Mahony against Down, is expected to retain his place in the Kerry line up for next weekends game
