Donegal celebrations have been over shadowed with the sad news of the tragic death of Andrew Duffy in the canal near Croke Park on Sunday night.
Duffy from Termon was only 24 years of age had been watching his county gain a place in the All-Ireland final.
He was found drowned in the canal around 12pm less than a mile away from Croke park up near Phibsborough.
According to the Donegal Daily It is understood that he had been making his way back to where he was staying when he slipped and fell into the water. A full investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the death.
