Route map and schedule for Bavaria City Racing Dublin

On Sunday 3rd of June €18million worth of Automotive Muscle Ready to Roar at Bavaria City Racing Dublin.

Over 70 vehicles will take part in the free event in the heart of Dublin city centre ranging from Formula 1, WRC and Drifters to Super Bikes, Super Cars and the Monster Stunt Mania team. 100,000 people are set to line the streets of Dublin to soak in the sights, sounds and smells of top motorsport action.

The city track which starts on North Wall Quay and ends on O’Connell Bridge via the Customs House and College Green is 2.6km long. 11.1km of barriers will line the city track and a staggering 5.6km of track branding will be erected. 5 pedestrian walkways will be built over the track.

In the F1 Paddock’s corporate hospitality area over 1,000 people will be catered for and 10 tonnes of Bavaria beer has been set aside for this area alone.

Spectator Tips

There are great places to view the action dotted all around the track so make sure you work your way around the city to soak up all the action:

Need for Speed:
The straight from North Wall Quay to Customs House Quay will allow these automotive monsters to really open up – pick a spot on the quays to witness red hot speeds first hand!!

Doughnut Anyone:
The Performance zones at O’Connell Bridge, Customs House Quay and North Wall Quay is where the cars will burn the most rubber. If you don’t have a ticket, don’t worry there will be plenty of public viewing areas and big screens to allow you to get your fill.

Playing Chicane:
College Street is the place to see some fancy cornering as the cars chicane onto College Green from Westmoreland Street.

U-Turn to Drive:
On Dame Street, witness the most illegal u-turn ever seen in the city limits as the cars race back towards the finish line on O’Connell Bridge

The on track action framed by Dublin city’s iconic landmarks including the Samuel Beckett Bridge, the Customs House, Liberty Hall, Trinity College and O’Connell Bridge, will be broadcast to over 80 countries around the world. Performing at the event are Jenson Button (Vodafone McLaren F1) Giedo van der Garde (Caterham F1), Eugene Laverty (Aprilia), Adam Carroll (Le Mans Spyker), Aron Smith (Motorbase Performance), Eugene Donnelly (Mini WRC), Terry Grant (Monster Street Mania) and many more.
