Dublin’s All Ireland winning captain Bryan Cullen is set to join Leinster Rugby as a coach. The news was confirmed on Wednesday by County Board officials.
A report first appeared in the Irish Independent and it was later clarified by the football board. Cullen has been an outstanding player for the Dubs over the past decade and his versatility has been a major part of his game. The 27 year old has played much of his football at centre back but also had a period in attack.
He will will begin his new job with the European champions as a strength and conditioning coach with their academy in the coming weeks. At present he has no plans to retire from inter county football.
