Dublin hurlers name strong team

The Dublin hurling management have named a strong team to face Wexford in tomorrow’s ESB Leinster MHC clash at Wexford Park.

The side includes five of the team that lost last year’s All-Ireland semi-final to Clare by a point.

Seán McClelland, Glenn Whelan, Emmet Ó Conghaile, Ciarán Kilkenny and Cormac Costello will all start against Wexford. The latter have already beaten Offaly by 3-13 to 3-10 in this year’s campaign. O Conghaile, Kilkenny and Costello are also members of this year’s Dublin minor football team.

The winners of Saturday’s game progress to the semi-finals while the losers enter a quarter-final.
