Fancy a pint, some dinner and bet well smart punters will head to their local greyhound track to avoid the Good Friday alcohol and gambling ban.
An age old exemption allows people travelling by ferry, train or plane to enjoy a pint but are you aware that there is a simple (and more fun way!). Greyhound Racing will again be one of the few options for a night out this Good Friday, with venues across the country set to open their doors for racing.
Among those IGB venues open for business are Shelbourne Park (showing live racing from Cork on the intertrack), Curraheen Park in Cork, Galway, Limerick, Newbridge,Kilcohan Park in Waterford and the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium in Tralee – all with full bar facilities on offer to race-goers. Opening times are 6:30pm to 11pm
All will operate a normal opening time and packages priced to suit all are available to book on www.gogreyhoundracing.ie.
