The Ireland team to compete in the 22nd edition of the European 10,000m Cup at the Parliament Hill Athletics Track in Hampstead Heath, north London on 19th May has been named.
The side includes those with plenty experience and some who are relatively new to major international championships.

Ann Marie McGlynn (Letterkenny AC).
Emma Mitchell (Queen’s University AC).
Fionnuala Ross (Armagh AC).
Hugh Armstrong (Ballina AC).
Sergiu Ciobanu (Clonliffe Harriers).
Mick Clohisey (Raheny Shamrock AC).
Stephen Scullion (Clonliffe Harriers AC).
This is the first time Britain will host the event, which was first staged in Spain in 1997 when known as the European 10,000m Challenge.
Previous well-known winners of the event include Olympic and World Champion Fernanda Ribero of Portugal (1998), Britain’s Paula Radcliffe (1999 & 2001) and Mo Farah (2010).
