Irish Eventing team manager Sally Corscadden has named her four team members for the German Nations Cup at Aachen, on Friday July 19th and Saturday 20th July.
The Dressage phase takes place on the first morning of competition, followed by the Showjumping later that afternoon, with the Cross Country the following day.
The Irish Eventing team for the Aachen Nations Cup is as follows:
Susie Berry with Stonedge.
Aoife Clark and Fernhill Adventure (ISH).
Ciaran Glynn with November Night (ISH (TIH).
Joseph Murphy and Cesar V.
Speaking after announcing her team for Aachen, Corscadden said:
“We are really looking forward to competing at Aachen in the Eventing Nations Cup. It is such a prestigious and competitive world class competition with a brilliant atmosphere. We have a strong team, with established horse and rider combinations in Aoife and Ciaran, while Joseph is on an exciting new four-star horse and Susie has a great opportunity to gain experience at senior team level.”
The World Equestrian Festival at Aachen CHIO runs from July 12th to 21st, is expected to attract more than 350,000 spectators and along with the Eventing Nations Cup, Ireland will also field teams in the Showjumping and Dressage Nations Cup competitions.
