Masked Marvel added to Arc field

St Leger winner Masked Marvel has been supplemented for Sunday’s Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe at a cost of €100,000.

John Gosden added the Classic hero after the ground was deemed too fast for his initial intended runner in the race, King George winner Nathaniel.

Andre Fabre’s Grand Prix de Paris winner Meandre, owned by the Rothschild Family, and German filly Danedream, a dual Group One winner, trained by Peter Schiergen were also added to the line-up this morning.

The three additions to the field for the Arc means there will be a maximum of 16 runners, although the final field will not be confirmed until Friday morning.
