Siam Warriors Superfights Ireland in Neptune Stadium on Saturday night

Cork’s Neptune Stadium hosts a Siam Warriors Superfights Ireland show on Saturday night with two Ireland v USA bouts the standout features of an impressive card.

The Lion Fight 48 Event Ireland versus America clash will feature two top Irish fighters in the Siam Warriors Cork duo of Seán Clancy and Wayne Cambridge who fight Chris Mauceri of New York and Eddie Silky Smooth Abasolo of CSA Gym, Dublin, California, respectively, with both A Class 5×3 Muay Thai fights taking place under full Muay Thai rules.

All four fighters are exciting exponents of Muay Thai, with the two Irishmen hoping to impress Lion Fight CEO Scott Kent who recently signed a new deal with CBS Sports in America for a 12-fight deal in 2019.

The undercard features Irish title fights with Aaron McGahey and Ian Crotty going head-to-head over 5 rounds. McGahey, current ISKA Irish flyweight champion, moves up a division to take a shot at the bantamweight title tonight.

Dublin’s Keith Levins faces Dylan Meagher of Courage Clonmel for the 5-round 78kgs Irish ISKA lightweight title, with both having promised to end the contest before the final bell.

Tonight’s show will also feature Siam Warriors Silver Series action with 5 fights in this newly-formed title which is seen as a stepping stone to an A National Title. Siam Warriors’ fighters Finn Keathing (57kg), Cian Hurley (60kg), Mark McGahey (63kg) and Staz (100+kg) all contest these titles over 3×3 rounds of full Muay Thai rules.

Doors open at the Neptune Stadium at 5pm, with tickets available on the door.
