Six Irish riders participate in Round 2 of Global Champions League of London

Today, at 2.30pm, round 2 of the Global Champions League of London begins, with a number of Irish riders among the 50 starters.

Hickstead-based Shane Breen will be first into the arena as an individual rider with Ipswich van de Wolfsakker, before Cork’s Shane Sweetnam with Alejandro, riding for the Shanghai Swans team, will be number 28 in the running order.

Madrid In Motion’s Mark McAuley and Valentino Tuiliere will be the next Irish combination in action and will be followed shortly afterwards by the in-form Paris Panthers representative Darragh Kenny and Balou du Reventon, who were 3rd in Friday evening’s first round of the Global Champions League.

Denis Lynch and GC Chopin’s Bushi, representing New York Empire, will be the second last Irish representatives in action, while Valkenswaard United’s Bertram Allen, riding GK Casper, will be the last of the Irish interest in the competition this afternoon.
