Tuesday’s main sporting events – 13th November 2012

With international football on Wednesday its a quiet day on Tuesday the 13th of November, but there are still plenty of events to keep sports fans entertained.

There are three meetings from the UK on Tuesday, which are:
Sedgefield (12.50pm, jumps) –

Only two of the races have attracted double-figure fields so, as with Huntingdon, punters will be hopeful of some returns at the north-east venue. Donald McCain Jnr and Tim Easterby have runners on the card, as does the in-form Charlie Longsdon, while Irish trainer Jim Dreaper, who had a winner at Southwell on Monday, has a runner at this track too.

Lingfield (1.00pm, jumps)
AP McCoy takes four rides on the card, but the race that will attract most interest is a hurdle race for flat jockeys at 2:10pm. Robert Havlin, Fergus Sweeney, Martin Lane, Jamie Goldstein, Robbie Fitzpatrick, Martin Harley, Ian Mongan, Kirsty Milczarek and Eddie Ahern are the flat riders taking part in the 2:30pm contest.

Huntingdon (1.10pm, jumps)
With only one of the races getting a double-figure entry, punters will, no doubt, be looking at this card with extra interest. Donald McCain Jnr, Paul Nicholls, Nicky Henderson, Alan King and Jonjo O’Neill all have runners on the card.

They also race in South Africa at Kenilworth (from 11am, flat) and Turffontein 3:40pm, flat).
