World Cup Football Betting – After a late 2-1 comeback victory over Mexico, The Netherlands are now 9/2 from 15/2 to win the 2014 World Cup.
The Dutch hit 8/1 in running when Mexico took the lead on the 48 minute with thanks to dos Santos and this doubled in odds when they hit 16/1 in the 83rd minute.
Tournament hosts Brazil still head the betting at 5/2 with Argentina next in the betting at 7/2 and Germany on offer at 4/1. France are priced at 8/1 to win a second title whilst Colombia are currently 12/1 to lift the trophy for the first time.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “We laid just under €5K at 8/1 on The Netherlands when they went 1-0 down and certainly there are some lucky punters that definitely have no nails left by now.”
He added “Brazil head the outright betting at 5/2 now but certainly some punters have some nice bets on the Netherlands having backed them at 33/1 prior to the tournament commencing and 12/1 prior to them topping Group B.”
