Measures taken for accessibility on this website:

The web designers have made every effort during the design and development of this website to make it as accessible and usable to as many people as possible in accordance with best practice from across the globe. Accessibility checks have been included in every step of our design process and we strived to ensure it is as accessible as possible.

Visual Design
In the development of this website valid Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and valid Hyper Text Markup Language (XHTML 1.0) were used for visual layout. This allows the end user to customise their experience to their own choosing and by doing so makes it more accessible.

Relative font sizes have been used, compatible with the user-specified “text size” options in visual browsers. If your browser does not support style sheets the content of each page will still be readable.

All of the content images used in the construction of this site include descriptive ALT attributes. It will be found that purely decorative graphics include null ALT attributes.

We have strived to ensure that all links have TITLE attributes, which describe the link and its destination in greater detail.

We have endeavored to construct this site according to the National Disability Authority of Ireland’s Guidelines for Web Accessibility, complying with WAI 2, CSS and HTML 4.01 requirements. This site will also be approved by the CMI, and will be tested on multiple browsers on a variety of operating systems.

If you are having problems accessing any of the content of this site or if you have any queries, comments or questions regarding this Accessibility Statement, please contact Sports News Ireland.
