Carlingford Lough supported for RSA Chase at Cheltenham festival

Carlingford Lough supported into 12/1 for RSA Chase

Ballycasey heads the betting at 8/1

Boylesports have reported support for the 2013 Galway Plate winner Carlingford Lough to land the RSA Chase on Monday morning.

The JP McManus owned eight-year-old is now 12/1 from 14/1 to win the RSA Chase. Carlingford Lough has progressed through the ranks and recently landed the Grade One Topaz Novice Steeplechase at the Leopardstown Christmas Festival

Morning Assembly who was runner-up at Leopardstown may head straight to Prestbury Park without another run and is currently priced at 14/1 alongside Sam Winner and Smad Place.

Currently the Willie Mullins trained Ballycasey heads the RSA betting at 8/1 with his stable-mate Champagne Fever hot on his heels at 10/1 alongside Wonderful Charm whilst Don Cossack is a 12/1 shot.

Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “We have seen support early on Monday morning for Carlingford Lough and have had to cut him into 12/1 after laying some hefty bets at 14/1.”

He added “With the Cheltenham Festival just over eight weeks away we can expect plenty of ante-post market movers in the coming days and weeks.”
