Flight details for Irish provinces’ European Champions and Challenge cup rugby matches

We the flight details for Munster, Leinster, Ulster and Connacht fans for their European Champions and Challenge cup rugby matches next season.

Munster will play last year’s Heineken Cup beaten finalists Saracens in Pool 1. Flights from Shannon to London in October start from €70. Fans will have to splash the cash if they hope to see their province face Clermont Auvergne away as tickets are estimated to be upwards of €350. While if the Reds wish to see their province play Sale Sharks away, tickets to Manchester from Limerick will cost around €110.

Leinster fans will have the option of travelling to London for two of their Pool 2 fixtures, against Harlequins and London Wasps. Flights from Dublin to London start from as little as €60. Ryanair are offering return flights from Dublin to Carcassonne in October starting at €71 but fans will have to travel to stadium by train as the airport is over 60 km away from the stadium in Castres.

The Ulster supporters can get flights from Belfast to Birmingham from €80 for their away fixture to Leicester but will have to connect to the stadium via coach. Flights from Belfast to Marseille in October average over €120 and supporters will have to travel from the airport by train to get to the Toulon’s stadium. A flight from Belfast to Cardiff will set back supporters over €120 and they will have to make their way to Scarlet’s stadium by coach.

If Connacht fans wish to see their team face Exeter Chiefs in the lion’s den they can get a flight from Dublin to Exeter from €110. A flight to La Rochelle from the capital will set them back €40 while a plane ticket to Dublin to Biarritz works out slightly cheaper starting from €37. Biarritz airport is just a stone’s throw away from Bayonne.
