Hometown boy Stander to captain Munster v Southern Kings in George, Saturday 6.35pm

Munster Rugby Head Coach has made ten changes to the team that defeated French side Toulon in last Saturday’s Champions Cup quarter-final for his side’s first trip to his native South Africa to face the Southern Kings in George.

Munster backrow and Ireland international CJ Stander will captain the side in his native town when the Irish province plays its first time Guinness PRO14 game at Outeniqua Park, with a 6.35pm kick-off Irish time.

Van Graan has named an all-Irish international front row with James Cronin, Niall Scannell and John Ryan starting.

South Africans Jean Kleyn and Gerbrandt Grobler will form the second row partnership, with a backrow of Dave O’Callaghan and Conor Oliver along with Stander.

Dan Goggin and Rory Scannell are chosen in midfield. The fullback position will be filled by JJ Hanrahan, while Calvin Nash joins Alex Wootton on the wings.

Scrum-half James Hart partners Ian Keatley in the half back pairing.
