England international Declan Rice looks set to sign for Manchester United according to the latest odds.
The odds revealed on oddschecker show Rice is 6/4 to join the Old Trafford based club. Rice played for the Chelsea youth team from 2006 to 2014. Furthermore, he signed for West Ham youth side from 2014-15. He joined the West Ham senior setup in 2015. He has made 74 appearances for the club scoring two goals.
Rice is 5/2 in the betting to sign for Manchester City. That couldn’t be ruled out either considering the players they have bought in the past. Chelsea are 7/1 to sign the current English international. Last years Champions League winners Liverpool are 9/1 to sign Rice. Other outside side are Bayern Munich at 14/1, Tottenham Hotspur 14/1, Arsenal 14/1 and Real Madrid 14/1.
London born Rice made his international debut for the Ireland U17 side in 2016. He was named the U19 player of the year. He was named in the Republic of Ireland squad to play Mexico and Uruguay. Rice didn’t feature in those games but he made his senior debut in a 1-0 loss to Turkey in 2018. Rice then switched to play for England after the FA approached him. In February 2019 Rice confirmed his allegiance to the England national side. He made his debut in March against the Czech Republic.
Based on the above it looks like the current England international will sign for Manchester United in the coming months. I guess we will just have to wait till the January transfer market.
