So far the start of this years Premier League has arguably been the most unpredictable yet, so can Everton break into the top four?

It has been a season in which everybody can beat anyone which no doubt  makes for quality entertainment.

Six games in and the top four is made up of Liverpool, Leicester, Aston Villa and Everton.

The latter two clubs being the surprise as both Villa and Everton have invested wisely this summer.

Everton with their new revitalised spirits could mount a challenge for the top four with their excellent recruitment this year.

This unpredictable year may be Everton’s best chance of European football next year and manager Carlo Ancelotti firmly believes this is possible.

With Ancelotti’s management skills and the new signings, the toffies look like a different beast then in recent years.

New Signings Boost

New signings of Doucoure, James Rodriguez and Allen have drastically changed how Everton play.

Their new modern formation of a 4-3-3 gives them a good base with Allen and Doucoure in the midfield and a frightening attacking three of Rodriguez, Richarlison and a transformed Calvert Lewin.

Calvert Lewin has become a different player under the Italian manager and has scored 7 goals in just five games.

However, with how well Everton are playing its only a matter of time before injuries begin to occur and how they react when boat is rocked.

Reinforcements Needed?

Already captain Seamus Coleman is out injured after a blistering start to the season and starting left back Digne was suspended after their last game against Southampton.

No doubt some January signings will be needed to fill out the bench that lacks much creative spark to add to the starting eleven.

However despite this ,Everton are in fine form and with how impactful the signings have been Everton will be confident of a top four finish this season.
