Welcome back to this week’s edition of Fantasy Football top picks and tips. In this article we’ll bring you the latest in the fantasy transfer market.
Game week 8’s predictions will help you and your fantasy squad to climb the table and challenge your friends.
This Premier League season has been as strange as ever to pan out with every team capable of beating anyone. Regardless, lets jump right in and guide you through the must buys for this week.
Let’s see our top 5 predictions to come good this game week.
1.Kurt Zouma – Chelsea (5.2 million)
Coming in at number one on this week’s transfer list is Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma.
Since Frank Lampard’s arrival at Chelsea they have struggled to keep clean sheets and find a consistent back four.
During his first year in charge, Chelsea were entering their first window with a transfer ban.
As a result, in stepped in form loanee from Everton Kurt Zouma. Zouma has been a regular under Lampard but has struggled for form in the last season or two.
This due to trying to find an ideal centre back partner. Lampard experimented with Rudiger and Christiansen at centre back alongside Zouma with mixed results.
Since the arrival of new keeper Mendy and the experienced defender Thiago Silva, Chelsea look transformed at the back.
The London side have kept clean sheets in their last four matches against tough opposition. Zouma has looked much more comfortable and solid at the back.
His recent performances have made him shoot up the Fantasy points list to number one for defenders on 46 points.
This week he has shot to number one in the Transfer list as the most popular amongst Fantasy fans.
He sits at number one with a massive 205696 fans putting him in their Fantasy squads.
We recommend highly that you put Zouma in your squad especially with his extremely low price tag of 5.2 million.
2 Hakim Ziyech – Chelsea (8 million)
Ranking at number two on the list is Chelsea’s new summer signing Hakim Ziyech.
He joined Chelsea on a fee of around 36 million pounds however since his arrival his progress has been hampered.
A preseason knee injury kept the former Ajax man out for a month resulting in missing the start of the season.
Lampard stated that his recovery was made more difficult due to the new covid restrictions placed upon them.
This meant that the first team were unable to train with the u23 squad where Ziyech was recovering.
Since his arrival in the first team and regaining his fitness Ziyech has given Chelsea a needed creative spark.
He has scored two goals in his last two matches and Lampard believes he can be a key player for them.
As a result of the Moroccan’s blistering form it’s no surprise to see him to shoot up the Fantasy transfer list for this week.
Whilst the wingers fantasy form is quite low at a 5.3 rating this is due mostly to his lack of game time having just returned to football.
He currently sits at number 2 for most popular transfers this week and we recommend you buy him before his price rises.
The Chelsea man currently is at a price of 8 million and rising so we urge you to buy him as his great form continues.
3 Ben Chilwell – Chelsea (5.9 million)
In the number three position we have Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell.
Similarly, to Hakim Ziyech, Chilwell has had injury struggles when starting his Chelsea career.
The left back had a foot problem back in August during the Internationals resulting in some time out at the beginning of the new season.
His arrival to the club has given Chelsea the defensive solidity they’ve been lacking in recent years.
The Englishman has replaced the streaky performer Marcus Alonso who was causing controversy at Stamford Bridge.
Chilwell sits at number three in this week’s top transfers and with good reason. The former Leicester man is capable of plenty of assists and has a goal already to his name.
The left back thus far sits at number seven in the defender’s listings on 33 points. However, we recommend buying Chilwell ASAP as he is definitely this year’s best bargain buy at only 5.8 million.
At only 23 to be an England regular and have amassed over 100 premier league appearances he has experience beyond his years.
The Englishman is definitely worth swapping out your expensive substitute or injured player as he is capable of far more than his price suggests.
4 Jack Grealish – Aston Villa ( 7.3 million )
Next up in fourth place is Villa talisman Jack Grealish.
Aston Villa have gotten off to a magnificent start to the league season thus far. This in part to many new signings of Barkley, Martinez, Cash and Ollie Watkins.
Villa had many problems at the back end of last season in which they struggled to score goals and were conceding far too many.
For a club just promoted, a relegation battle is not what they needed.
However, having survived they bought wisely in the summer picking up some extremely sought after Championship stars.
Villas great start to the league is mainly down to Grealish whom has been there spark for the last few years.
The midfielder has scored 4 goals with 5 assists in just 6 games.
He has accumulated 54 points on Fantasy football and sits in fourth place on the total points list behind salah, Kane and Son.
With this magnificent start all fans are chasing the Villa man down for their Fantasy teams.
Grealish is priced at 7.7 million and counting as his value is slowly increasing this week.
We urge you to pounce on Grealish as he will be a season long investment for your team at a reasonable price.
5 Max Kilman – Wolves (4.2 million)
In at number 5 is young 23 year old Max Kilman from Wolves.
The young centre back has broken into Nuno Santo’s side in the last few games and is beginning to get into his stride.
The defender has spent most of his playing career in the National League at Maidenhead United making over 34 appearances for the senior side.
He was signed by Wolves in 2018 and has since been trying to break into the first team.
The defender made some brief appearances for the senior team in the Europa league last season but nothing very consistent.
This season however, for the last few games he has started alongside the experienced Conor Coady. Since his arrival in the first team, Wolves are unbeaten and have kept 3 clean sheets away from home.
With Wolves mounting a run in form and clean sheets he has become a popular transfer so far this gameweek.
Kilman currently sits on 29 points thus far in fantasy league in a tie for 11th on the defenders listings.
Kilman remains quite far down this list having missed the first few league games before breaking into the squad.
We recommend picking up Kilman whom has the potential to start every game and earn plenty of points.
KIlman is priced at only 4.2 million which would make him one of the seasons best bargain buys at his current price.
The defender could be easily swapped out for your cheapest player that may be injured or frequently unused.
