Chelsea and Arsenal will lock horns in what will form part of Unai Emery’s first pre-season as Arsenal manager.
The sides are scheduled to meet on August 1st in the International Champions Cup. Liverpool will play Napoli at the venue three days later on the 4th of August, which is the weekend before the commencement of the Premier League season 2018/19. The match will mean it will be the third time the International Champions Cup will be played in Ireland and second time to the Aviva Stadium.
Tickets are to go on sale this coming Friday the 15th of June to anyone that wishes to attend the game. Chelsea are also scheduled in to play the Community Shield which Manchester City on the 5th of August.
The two sides failed to make any impact in the European competitions last season and also failed to make any impact in the English Premier League, but sides in fact finished outside the top four, so they will both have to be content with playing Europa League football this coming season.
