Manchester United boss David Moyes is reportedly preparing to raid his former club Everton to sign Marouane Fellaini.
According to The Guardian, the Belgian player has a £24 million release clause in his contract, and Moyes realises that that price tag will be no barrier to United.
With Paul Scholes retired, the Red Devils need to bolster their midfield and the Belgian is seen as the ideal replacement for the departing Scholes.
Despite being forced to play up front on occasions this season, Moyes believes that his best position is in midfield. It would be a major blow to the Toffess if Moyes was to take a player seen as crucial to the short term future of the side.
