Dundalk to face APOEL or Sutjeska if they progress in UEFA Champions League

SSE Airtricity League Champions Dundalk will face APOEL from Cyprus or Sutjeska of Montenegro in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League if the Co. Louth club progresses in the competition. 

The Lilywhites face Azerbaijani side Qarabag in the second qualifying round of the competition, having beaten Riga FC in the previous round. Dundalk host Qarabag tomorrow, Wednesday, 24th July 24 Oriel Park and travel to Azerbaijan for the second leg on Wednesday, 31st July.

If they fail to progress in the UEFA Champions League, Dundalk will play either Slovan Bratislava from Slovakia or Kosovo’s Feronikeli in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League.
