Liverpool flop Joe Cole has told Andy Carroll to join West Ham from the Reds this summer.
Cole has urged Carroll to follow him to West Ham, after the former Chelsea man left Anfield after a disastrous spell at the club.
Carroll is currently considering a £15million move to the Hammers after the London club agreed a deal to take the England striker to Upton Park.
Carroll is believed to be considering staying at Liverpool and fight for his place at the club, but it is understood he would be a bench player if he was to stay at Liverpool.
Cole has said that Carroll would benefit from a permanent move to West Ham
“We play to suit him, we play around him,” Cole told talkSPORT. “We try to get good quality balls into the box for him and that is going to be valuable. If I was him, I would be wanting to stay at West Ham.
“The lads love him and the fans have taken to him. If he keeps himself fit he can get 20 to 30 goals next season and really kick on.”
Carroll hit a purple patch at West Ham toward the end of his loan spell after injuries hampered his early Hammers career. Carroll scored six in his final 13 West Ham games.
