Arsenal manager Unai Emery is “100% confident” Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac are mentally ready to play against Burnley on Saturday.
The pair were left out of the Gunners’ season-opening win over Newcastle because of “further security fears” after being involved in a carjacking attempt by an armed gang in July.
Midfielder Ozil and left-back Kolasinac have returned to training which will delight Arsenal fans and good news is that two men have since been charged with a public order offence.
“They came back training with us on Tuesday, they came to start training with us, we had it off. Mesut Ozil is a little sick, he didn’t train yesterday.
“Each training gives us good information, different options with them. Am I pleased to have them back? Of course.
“If they are training consistently each day with normal work I am going to decide and achieve the best solution each moment. It’s positive they are with us now.”
