Tottenham Hotspur travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Monday night and Luis Suarez will be available for selection for the Reds; kick-off is at 8pm.
The Uruguayan returns from an eight game suspension and is back in contention for a starting spot but it is still unclear if Kenny Dalglish will put the striker straight back into the first team.
Liverpool have picked up just two wins in the league since Suarez last played on St Stephen’s day and Dalglish will surely be looking to introduce the spark Suarez provides into the game against Spurs at some point.
Stephen Gerrard is back in the squad after being rested for Liverpool’s 3-0 win over Wolves on Tuesday and Dalglish has a relatively injury-free squad to choose from; Lucas Leiva is still out with a long term injury however.
Tottenham’s two new signings Louis Saha and Ryan Nelsen are both in line to make their debuts at Anfield as Jermain Defoe is unlikely to play because of a hamstring injury.
Emmanuel Adebayor came off early with a hamstring injury during Spurs win against Wigan last week and Rafael Van der Vaart is also struggling with a calf injury, which could give Saha the opportunity to start against Liverpool.
Aaron Lennon is also struggling with a hamstring injury and is a major doubt while William Gallas and Tom Huddlestone are not available but Ledley King and Kyle Walker should be fit enough to start.
