Paul Pogba’s Manchester United debut will be delayed by a week after the English FA announced he would missSunday’s game away to Bournemouth through suspension.
United secured the former Juventus star earlier this week for £89 million, which means that Pogba will be reunited with Manchester United. His second debut for the club will not come on the south coast after Football Association listed him among four players to be suspended for the opening weekend of matches.
The FA announced the reason why the ban would be in place and said that it relates to the French international having secured two yellow cards in last season’s Coppa Italia with Juventus. The second of the cards came in final, where Pogba played his last game for the club. Therefore, Pogba’s debut is now likely to be against Southampton, at Old Trafford, next Friday evening.
