It looks like Manchester United will beat Liverpool FC in the transfer window to sign highly-rated Benfica youngster Joao Felix.
Barcelona and City also keen to sign the Portuguese u21 star but its looks set to go down to who will offer more between Liverpool and Man Utd.
It is claimed by Portuguese outlet Record, cited by Mirror Online, that Manchester United are likely to beat their Premiership rivals Liverpool to the signing. Its reported that Felix has a £105million buy-out clause in his contract having recently penned an extension at the Estadio da Luz.
Last week it had looked Liverpool were in control of the signing after Correio da Manha reported that Liverpool had £60million bid for Felix rejected by the Lisbon club. but it now appears that the Merseysiders could lose out to Manchester United who may bid closer to 80 million even though Solskjaer said “I’m happy with squad I’ve got, I don’t expect anyone to come in but obviously if the club have targeted and identified a few and I think they might fit here, I’ll give my thumbs up. But it’s not just my decision.”
