Giggs 6/1 to be appointed permanent Manchester United Manager
With the news breaking on Tuesday that David Moyes, will be leaving Manchester United, Boylesports can report that current Dutch manager Louis van Gaal is all the rage to be the next permanent manager at Old Trafford.
Initially installed at 9/4 on Tuesday morning when the news broke, the former Barcelona manager has been all the rage. Within an hour Van Gaal’s price had been slashed into 7/4 following heavy support through all channels.
Ryan Giggs, who is set to act as the temporary manager, is priced at 6/1 to get the permanent position, with Jurgen Klopp next in the betting at 8/1.
Alex Ferguson is 16/1 to reunite with his former club, whilst former player Gary Neville is priced at 33/1.
Liam Glynn, PR Executive at Boylesports said “It was no surprise that David Moyes would get the sack from Manchester United and already punters have got stuck into current Dutch manager Louis Van Gaal to take over at Old Trafford.”
He added “We installed him at 9/4 on Tuesday at 9am when the news broke and within an hour we have had to cut him into 7/4 as we laid some hefty bets at 9/4 and 2/1 and it looks like the 7/4 won’t last long either as the demand continues to come for the Dutch native.”
