Transfer news – Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko appears to finally be on his way out of the club after a fee, believed to be in the region of £14milion was agreed between the Etihad club and Italian giants AS Roma.
The Bosnian striker has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Serie A club, and is expected to travel to the Italian capital within the next 24 hours to conclude the deal.
Dzeko moved to City from Wolfsburg four years ago for a fee of £27million, scoring 72 goals in 187 appearances for the club.
The Bosnian international was not always a guaranteed starter however, with almost half his appearances coming from the bench and he will now hope to re-launch his career in Italy.
The 29 year old who could only manage six goals last season follows fellow frontman Stevan Jovetic in leaving City for Serie A, as City boss Manuel Pellegrini looks set to rely on Sergio Aguero and Wilfried Bony, as his main striking options for the upcoming season.
