Chrysanthemun made it two from two at the Curragh this season when she took the Listed Alleged Stakes at the Co. Kildare venue on Sunday afternoon.
The Danehill Dancer filly, who was sent off the 5/4 favourite led for most of the ten furlong contest under jockey Wayne Lordan.
Her main market rival Zaminast joned her at the head of affairs in the opening stages of the race, however she quickly dropped away as the race developed turning for home.
It was 7/1 shot Vivacious Vivienne that loomed upsides Chrysanthemun and looked a huge danger. Lordan however gave his filly a slap and she quickened away in impressive style to win going away at the finish.
The winning trainer, David Wachman, was impressed. “Wayne gave her a good ride. She is most likely a little better that these today. There are plenty of races for her. She is pretty good anywhere from a mile to ten furlongs, but we will take it one day at a time.”
