Boss a doubt for clash with Dragons

Isaac Boss is a major doubt for Leinster’s away trip to Rodney Parade against the Newport Gwent Dragons on Saturday night

Leinster scrum-half Isaac Boss picked up a bad knock on the build up play to Cian Healey’s crucial try in the Heineken Cup semi final last Sunday against ASM Clermont Auvergne. This leaves the player as a serious doubt for Saturday nights RaboDirect PRO12 encounter with Welsh side Newport Gwent Dragons. This was the only reported injury by medical staff in the Leinster squad after they trained in University College Dublin (UCD) on Tuesday.

Leinster has already secured top seed in this division which gives the management a chance to freshen up the squad for this away trip to Wales. It is likely that some of the regular starters may be rested for this encounter. Ica Nacewa will become only the second ever player to reach 100 caps as an overseas player for the province in his next appearance.
