A top class field lines up this week on the PGA Tour as the preparation for the US Open gets into full flow.
Luke Donald heads the betting at a top price of 10/1 and is closely followed by the likes of Woods, McIlroy and Mickelson, who all hover around the 14/1 mark or so.
Our first pick is a little further down the list and is readily available at 50/1 in the shape of Ryan Moore. Moore has two top tens to his name in his last four outings and his record of three top tens from six starts at memorial mean that the 6 places that most bookmakers are paying this week make Moore a standout each-way selection.
Next up is Rickie Fowler. Fowler is arguably the most in-form player in the world right now, with four top tens (including a win) in his last four starts. He is available at 18/1 and looks as good as McIlroy did at the start of the season. Snap up these prices while they last.
Lastly, I’ll try Justin Rose at 18/1. Rose is another man in great form and has a win, a second and fourth place finishes to his name on the course in previous years. Looking for his seventh top ten of the season, Rose is finally starting to show some of the promise he showed as a teenager those many years ago.
Finally, some people have been wondering where I get the prices from. I usually shop around for the best price but sites like www.oddschecker.com can be a useful tool for finding some extra value.
