Pat Sullivan has re-joined Shamrock Rovers until the end of the current Airtricity League season.

The right back, who scored the famous goal against Partizan Belgrade which helped secure Rovers’  passage to the group stages of the Europa League last season, won two domestic league titles in 2010 and  ’11 with the club.

The 29 year-old spent some months has returned from a trip Down Under where he played for Victoria State League outfit Southern Stars.  He began his career at UCD and went on play for Drogheda United and Longford Town, appearing in their FAI Cup final defeat to Cork City in 2007.

In 2008 he signed for Cork City and spent eighteen months at Turner’s Cross before moving on to sign for Michael O’Neill at Shamrock Rovers in 2009, having been forced to leave the  “Rebel Army”  due to the financial problems at the club.
