Limerick v Laois: Live score commentary updates

We have live score commentary from Limerick v Laois preview All-Ireland Senior Hurling Qualifier, 7:30pm Saturday 23rd June, Gaelic Grounds, 7.30pm.

It would seem that Teddy McCarthy has the worst job in Irish hurling at the moment as he must try to instil confidence in his Laois team only weeks after a 22-point mauling at the hands of Dublin.

Following their relegation from Division 1B of the Allianz National League, Laois beat Carlow comfortably in the Leinster championship and would have been encouraged to follow on from there. But morale will have taken a battering has put them right back at square one.
David O’ Mahoney has gone to the US and will be unavailable but the U21’s could come in for selection after some impressive showings.
Limerick were somewhat unlucky against Tipperary in the Munster championship only fading near the end in a match they dominated. Brian Gearey comes in at centre-forward with Niall Moran is at full-forward in what are the only two changes.

This seems like a penalty kick for Limerick and have the added comfort of home advantage and should be comfortable winners at the Gaelic Grounds and go on to face Antrim in the next round.
