Kilkenny team news: Hogan out of Limerick game

All-Star centre back Brian Hogan is not expected to return to full fitness in time for Kilkenny’s quarter final clash against Limerick in Thurles this Sunday.

The O’ Loughlin Gaels man picked up an injury in a recent club game and has been unable to train since.

JJ Delaney could fill in for Hogan in the centre. He has returned to full training after missing the Galway game with a broken finger.

Brian Cody also welcomes back midfielder Michael Fennelly after a long layoff. The Kilkenny team will be named after training on Thursday night.
