With 4 mm of rain over night the going has changed to soft all over and sure to be softer on the round course as is always the case here. Today starts off with my Banker for the day in NEWFANGLED by New Approach just like the Coventry winner on Tuesday .She was a most impressive winner of her maiden at Newmarket 2 weeks ago on soft ground. She should be followed home my Mick Channon`s Sandreamer

3.05 : KING EDWARD VII STAKES (GROUP 2) (COLTS & GELDINGS) (CLASS 1) (3yo) Winner £85,065 BBC1

This should be another winner for the Ballydoyle team with the Derby third ASTROLOGY who was an 11 length winner of the Dee Stakes at Chester on his first run of the season on soft ground. He should as he was in the Derby be followed home by the john Gosden trained Thought Worthy.

With the possibility of Homecoming Queen and Laugh out Loud setting a furious gallop this can be set up for the resent Irish 1000 Guineas winner SAMITAR .A winner of the Albany here last year on good to soft she took a few runs early in the season to come to herself and the form of the Guineas was boosted by the second home Ishvana winning the Jersey here on Tuesday.

4.25 : WOLFERTON HANDICAP (LISTED RACE) (CLASS 1) (4yo+ 0-110) Winner £31,191
Soft 1m2f Number of runners: 16
QARAABA is the e/w selection in what looks a very tight handicap. She is one of a very few who has won on soft ground and is still improving. She was a very easy winner of her last race at Doncasteron soft ground. A defeat by Danadana at Newmarket on firm ground prevented her from coming into this race undefeated for the season.

5.00 : QUEEN´S VASE (GROUP 3) (CLASS 1) (3yo) Winner £34,026
Soft 2m Number of runners: 12
ESTIMATE can give the Queen her first win of the week and another winner for Ryan Moore. This filly is very well bred and should improve for the step up in trip.

5.35 : BUCKINGHAM PALACE STAKES (HANDICAP) (CLASS 2) (3yo+ 0-105) Winner £46,688B
Soft 7f Number of runners: 28 NR Excellent Guest
The winner of the Victoria Cup here over C&D GLOBAL VILLAGE can take this of a 6lb mark. He loves coming off a really fast pace and is sure to get that once again here on ground
