The player that Wenger wants to replace Fabregas if and when he leaves is 23 year old Argentine international Banega.
The midfielder has been impressive form for Valencia in the last couple of season’s and is currently in South America having been recalled to the Argentina squad for the Copa America.
If the reported price tag of 14 million is to believed then it would represent a good bit of business to sell an unhappy place for 30+ million and bring is a talented midfielder with 20 million in the bank.
The player has long been linked with a move to England with both Everton and Liverpool showing an interest in the past.
