The agent of Dirk Kuyt has claimed that Inter Milan have a bid for the striker.
The Seria A outfit are looking to bolster their striking options after selling Samuel Eto’o to Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala and the Dutch man is thought to be one of their top targets.
Inter tried to sign the 31 year old last season however Liverpool were not interested in doing business at that point and with the striker playing his part in the weekend win over Arsenal, its remains to be seen if Kenny Dalglish would be keen to do business.
However that hasn’t stopped his agent, Rob Jansen, from reportedly telling RTV West that a deal could be in the offing, saying “Inter Milan have made an attractive offer for Dirk and he has to think about it, However, the two clubs have yet to agree a deal.”
Meanwhile one man who is definitely leaving Anfield is former Greek international central defender Sotirios Kyrgiakos, who has returned to German football after signing for VfL Wolfsburg.
The 32 year old former Rangers defender signed a two year contract. Kyrgiakos made 49 appearances in all after joining from AEK Athens in 2009.
