League of Ireland side Dundalk FC have agreed the transfer of Daniel Kearns to English Championship club Peterborough United, subject to final details being completed in the coming days.
Kearns, who was set for his 50th appearance for the club on Tuesday night, is expected to travel to England on Monday for a medical, with a deal set to go through once that and the other relevant paperwork is completed.
The Belfast born 20 year spent three years with West Ham as a youth but failed to make the grade returning to Ireland and joining Dundalk in 2010.
Kearns who represented Northern Ireland at U19 level before switching to the Republic of Ireland has caught the eye in the league of Ireland and impressed during this summer’s Dublin Super Cup.
No details of the transfer have been revealed at this point.
