FULL TIME: Leinster have done it, they’ve travelled to Glasgow and beaten the home side to qualify for the quarter finals of the Heineken Cup. This was a performance to owed more to substance rather than style, a workman like performance. Credit to Glasgow who gave it their all but ultimately they feel short and with one round to go Sean Lineen’s men are now out of the running for the knock out stages. Second Half tries from Rob Kearney, who showed good awareness and pace, and Isaac Boss set the scene for a 7 point win but with the sides level at half time and again with 17 minutes to go the result could have gone either way. Leinster were made to sweat at the end when Sean O’Brien was sin binned with five minutes to go but they held on and will not head back to the RDS looking to seal a home quarter final against Montpellier.
