The IABA has confirmed ticket prices for the first ever Women’s Boxing International between Ireland and Holland at Dublin’s National Stadium on March 23rd.
The Irish team will be led by World No.1 Katie Taylor and will also include Michaela Walsh from the Holy Family BC in Belfast, and Sinead Kavanagh who boxes out of the Drimnagh Club.
Cavan’s Ceire Smith, Mayo’s Michelle Lynch of the Golden Gloves BC in Belmullet and Claire Grace of Callan, will also feature on the bill at the home of Irish boxing.
The teams meet again at the Cavan Crystal Hotel in Cavan Town on March 25th, whilst Taylor has two other bouts this month, firstly in Cork where she meets leading U.S lightweight Portland Maine’s Liz Leddy,
the 2011 U.S National Golden Gloves champion on 30th March and next day in Dungarvan where she faces another top U.S boxer, Bertha Aracil from Yonkers, NY, at the Peter Crotty memorial evening staged by the Iron Man Gym, Dungarvan BC.
