Team news ahead of Saturday early kick off between Chelsea and Tottenham
Roberto di Matteo’s impressive winning streak as Chelsea manager came to halt with Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to Manchester City and the Blues boss will be keen to get back to winning ways against out of sorts Spurs on Saturday lunchtime (12.45pm kick off).
Di Matteo will welcome back John Terry after he missed the midweek loss with a calf strain however they are sweating on the fitness of Branislav Ivanovic after he suffered a thigh strain against City.
Harry Redknapp will hoping to end a four game winless run at Stamford Bridge however he will have to do so without winger Aaron Lennon.
Lennon is struggling with a hamstring injury as striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is also a major doubt.
Ledley King faces a late fitness test on his knee while long-term absentees Michael Dawson, goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes, and midfielder Tom Huddlestone remain out.
